We spent all morning casting for one more, last-minute shoot for Joey No. 2.

Production on Joey No. 2 is wrapping up in the next few weeks, and as an amazing crop of photographers are scrambling to edit last-minute stories, we decided the issue needed one more beat-the-clock shoot before marking its Internet territory in mid-November. With that in mind, we held a casting at our Brooklyn office this morning, where we met with some lovely models from IMG, NEXT and Trump (see a preview above, featuring Karolina, Quinta, Madeline and Kristine). When imagining the Joey girl, we like to think that she exudes attitude and style. Essentially—if we’re to put it simply—we like to think ourselves as a magazine about cool girls, so let’s pick the day’s coolest girl.
